School of Film & Media Studies Freshmen Orientation
Welcome to the School of Film & Media Studies! We’re thrilled to have you with us. Attendance at the FMS Freshmen Orientation Programme (FOP) is mandatory to help you settle into polytechnic life. The FOP includes a Course Briefing by your Course Chair, insights into Student Life, Education & Career Guidance (ECG) activities, Scholarships, Financial Assistance, and Co-Curricular Activities. You’ll also meet your ECG Advisors and seniors as you prepare for an enriching journey at FMS!

FAQ
You should have received your Director to Freshmen letter in your enrolment package, which has a google form to fill in. If you have filled in the google form, you will be enrolled into the telegram of FOP2025, where you will receive information for FMS FOP2025. If not, our student leaders will contact you from 10 April 2025 for FOP2025. If you do not receive any invitation to orientation by 14 April 2025, do contact Mr. Tan Heng Han at thh2@np.edu.sg.
If you feel unwell, please inform your FOP student leader immediately. If you are at home, please stay at home or visit a doctor. If you are at our orientation programme, we will allow you to leave the orientation after informing your guardian or parent. We will inform your advisor to follow up with you.
