Partner with us to train and develop our students at your workplace and add value to your teams. You will assess and grade our students during their internships according to a set of rubrics.

Civic Internships enable students to work in socially responsible workplaces, and apply their skills and knowledge to promote social good. While this develops them to become work-ready professionals, it also nurtures them to become advocates who help build a better world.
Currently some 100 organisations and companies are on board as our Civic Internship partners. Interested in signing up for Civic Internship? Email us at np_ci@np.edu.sg to explore the internship positions available for the current semester and find your fit.
Keen for your company/organisation to come on board as a Civic Internship partner? Please email us at np_ci@np.edu.sg to indicate your interest.
Civic Internships are supported by the School of Humanities & Interdisciplinary Studies (HMIS).
NP is the first polytechnic to launch a Corporate Purpose Internship (CPI) programme, open to Year 3 students across all 36 diplomas. Students will apply their domain skills and knowledge to social impact projects relevant to the business strategy of their internship company, learning that doing good can help companies do well. NP piloted the CPI from September 2023, developed in collaboration with corporate partners Capella Hotels & Resorts, ofi and Sodexo. NP’s CPI was fully rolled out in September 2024 with additional partners from a range of MNCs, SMEs and non-profit organisations including Fullerton Health and Stewardship Asia Centre.

NP students can take on non-credit bearing internships from their first year. Vacation internships are short internships (6 to 8 weeks) that run during the semester breaks in end-February to mid-April or end-August to mid-October. These internships are great for employers who are looking for interns to work on short-term projects.

In partnership with Enterprise Singapore, our overseas internship experiences will increase students’ awareness and exposure in overseas markets and enhance their career-readiness for a role with global responsibilities. If your company would like to offer overseas internships, please approach our team.
