NP curriculum includes more industry involvement

Synopsis: A new framework that aligns student learning with the latest industry developments to ensure students graduate with the skills and competencies required by industry was launched at Ngee Ann Polytechnic on Wednesday. The Industry-in-Curriculum (IiC) framework, which is scheduled to be implemented by the end of 2024, will allow NP to work with industry partners to jointly develop, deliver and assess at least a third of the curriculum for all full-time diplomas. Students will benefit from learning current industry practices through lessons designed by industry experts, recognize developments and emerging trends, and gain validation of their skills through assessment and feedback from industry practitioners.
