Mr Clarence Ti, outgoing Principal of NP, will be joining NUS as Deputy President (Administration) from 12 May, succeeding Mr John Wilton who served in the position since July 2018. In this role, Mr Ti will be overseeing the University’s administrative policies in the areas of health & wellness, information technology, legal, procurement as well as privacy and compliance. A public servant with a wealth of experience, Mr Ti has served in various government agencies prior to joining NP in May 2014, including the Economic Development Board, the Singapore Land Authority, the Ministry of Law and the Ministry of Finance. During his time in NP, he expanded on NP’s entrepreneurial efforts and promoted the use of new technologies to improve learning experiences. He hopes to continue transforming the way students learn and innovate in NUS. EDB Executive Vice-President Mr Lim Kok Kiang will take over as principal of NP. He looks forward to working with NP to future-proof students with relevant skills for the economy.
