The Gist
All set to pursue a Minor in Entrepreneurship? Take on the Passion+ PLP in Entrepreneurship and embark on a curated pathway that gives you the full experience of honing your entrepreneurial skills and starting your own business!
Highlights
Choose the Passion+ PLP in Entrepreneurship for:

Who can apply?
The Passion+ PLP in Entrepreneurship is open to all NP students, except students taking the Diploma in Business Studies (Entrepreneurship specialisation) and Diploma in Business Studies (Entrepreneurship Management option).

The Passion+ PLP in South-East Asia (SEA) Readiness will set you up for success – whether you are seeking an overseas career in this region or a role in an international corporation with global footprint.

For Passion+ PLP (Entrepreneurship):
Passion in starting your own biz! You may join the programme with a pre-formed team, or find like-minded teammates during the programme to start a business with.
For Passion+ (SEA Readiness):
Adaptability, curiosity, cultural sensitivity, open-mindedness, need we say more? Come on board if you’re keen to tap opportunities in South-east Asia!
For Passion+ PLP (Entrepreneurship):
Gain green lane access to the Accelerator Programme and Global Entrepreneurial Internship Programme, both of which will present you with entrepreneurship-focused learning. Because mentorship is a key factor in entrepreneurial success, you’ll be assigned an NP mentor as well as matched with external mentors in relevant industries.
For Passion+ PLP (SEA Readiness):
Gain Green Lane access to exciting overseas programmes such as the Temasek Foundation Specialists’ Community Action and Leadership Exchange (TF-SCALE) Programme, Twin-City South-east Asia Immersion Leadership (SAIL), or Global Entrepreneurial Internship Programme (GEIP). You’ll also receive priority consideration for the Youth Expedition Programme or Overseas Immersion Programme!
You may indicate interest in Passion+ PLP^ in Semester 1 of your first year and begin reading the Learning Units (LUs) by Semester 2. PLP LUs will require an average of three hours per week while the internship takes up to 6 months in your 3rd year of study.
External competitions or programmes endorsed by The Sandbox or Centre for South-East Asia can take place beyond curriculum hours.
^Students starting their own business under the Passion+ PLP (Entrepreneurship) will be guided by mentors on the timeline.
A one-time subsidy is available to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PRs) when they apply for the Youth Expedition Programme or Overseas Immersion Programme. Air travel and programme fees for TF-SCALE and SAIL are fully subsidised; students are required to bear only personal expenses.
More details will be provided when students are enrolled in the programme.
All overseas internships in South-east Asia, including the Global Entrepreneurial Internship Programme (GEIP), are award programmes. Students selected for these programmes will receive subsidies for air travel, accommodation and visa fees. They will be required to fund part of their overseas living expenses.
More details will be provided when students are successful in their application.
There are no credit exemptions, but students under the Passion+ PLP (Entrepreneurship) can replace the Accelerator or Incubation Learning Unit under the Minor in Entrepreneurship by participating in endorsed external competitions or programmes.
No, NP does not require any equity in companies that students start during the programme.
