Building at Blk 34 that was awarded with “BCA Green Mark Gold Plus” in 2016

Green Building @Blk 34 *new

The Building & Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Scheme is an initiative to shape a more environmentally friendly and sustainable built environment in Singapore. NP joined the scheme as part of our commitment to take the lead in environmental sustainability. Block 34 was one of the buildings that were retrofitted to be more energy- and resource-efficient. For instance, the building's facade is constructed with low-emissivity materials and uses shading that reduces thermal heat transmission into the building. It also features the largest vertical green garden in Ngee Ann. The building's rooftop is installed with 114 solar panels that generate 34,000 Watts of power which is sufficient to power the lighting for the common areas in the block. Block 34 will be equipped with a Digital Twin, in which the real-time building data is collected and channelled for analytics to optimize energy consumption. Block 34 is one of the many buildings in NP that was awarded the "BCA Green Mark Gold Plus”.
